The Sacred Pause

As the year begins to draw to a close and we approach the darkest days of winter, join me for a nourishing day dedicated simply to slowing down, turning inward and taking a pause.

The Sacred Pause is an invitation to step away from the busyness of everyday life – and the rush of the festive season – and give yourself a whole day to move, breathe, reflect and deeply rest.

We’ll gather at the beautiful Lake House Kent, a peaceful wellbeing venue set within 2.5 acres of grounds, surrounded by mature trees and overlooking its own lake.

Our morning will begin with a warming Hatha Yoga practice, followed by meditation and time for personal reflection and journalling. We’ll then gradually slow things down with a long, nurturing Yin Yoga practice, encouraging the body and mind to soften and release.

After a relaxed light lunch, the afternoon is all about rest. You’ll be guided into a deeply restorative Yoga Nidra, before settling back for a beautiful 45-minute sound bath. We’ll finish our day quietly together with a short closing circle.

1.00pm – Light Vegetarian Lunch

2.30pm – 45-minute Sound Bath

3.15pm – Closing Circle

3.30pm – Finish

Who is this retreat for?

You don’t need to be an experienced yogi to join us. The practices will be accessible and adaptable, and you’re always encouraged to listen to your own body.
