It is not because things die,
that they are beautiful.
Things are beautiful,
Because somehow,
A part of them lives on.
And never dies.
I welcome you to join us on this gentle paced “In loving memory” circular (of about 2 miles) walk starting and ending in the idyllic setting of the Lake House, Hothfield, near Ashford, Kent.
Along the way there will be stops to share comforting and encouraging words, and to blow rainbow tinted bubble kisses into the sky to our loved, and never forgotten ones.
Why bubbles:
Blowing bubbles on this grief and loss walk offers a gentle, beautiful way to release what words cannot hold, each bubble a wish, a memory, a whispered message to the one you miss.
Light, fleeting, and luminous, they mirror the fragile nature of grief while reminding us that love, like the bubble’s shimmer, never truly vanishes; it simply changes form, rising on the wind to become part of the sky, the air, the world around us.
It’s a quiet act of letting go without forgetting – soft, playful, and deeply healing, turning heavy emotion into something that can float and fly.
(We will have some bubbles available but please bring your own if you are able)
Every life lost is the life of someone beautiful. This walk is for everyone who would like to remember those we have lost or are grieving for, (they can be our pets too) and as this walk is on World Mental Health Day, this walk is also to raise awareness of the many lives lost to suicide; in the UK more than 100 every week, worldwide about one person every 43 seconds.
The Lake House will be available for refreshments, including delicious pastries and cakes both prior to and after the walk, which can be consumed sitting next to the lake, flowing with golden fish, or within the cafe itself.
There is also a shop on site with a range of wellbeing related gifts.

I look forward to walking with you.
